Nice Day Here Today WOW!!!

Nice here today!! WOW!
After a few days of cold weather, down to the teen’s a couple nites,(one Notherner told me yesterday that it’s so different here for it might be 18′ at nite but gets up to 50’s during the day, nothing like back home) the last two days were just awesome. In the middle sixties, lots of sunshine yesterday, just a perfect time here a couple weeks before Christmas.

Real Estate is still hotter then the weather here in Charlotte and the surrounding area. I have had more inquires on my web site since Thanksgiving then any other time this year. Everybody is just waiting to sell their NY,NJ, CN, Fl, CA home and move. Don’t forget about PODS they are then next best thing to sliced bread. You ever wonder about why sliced bread is so good, just try to make a sandwich with some of the bread you wife made for Christmas in her new bread maker thing. A real mess!!!

Down in Union County, just a rocks throw from the I485 East side, the newly elected county commissioners wasted little time opening up things for the developers. The old commission had cut off all new subdivisions until some time in the future. But the first meeting of the newly elected board the two new members sided with the incumbent and now, it’s really Katie bar the door for the new development in Union also. Watch out Monroe, just because Union county was one of the fasted growing in the US it’s only just begun. Hold on to the schools and make sure you don’t let Char-Meck trick you into thinking you don’t need discipline. You see what has happened here, not only are the kids afraid in some schools, but so are the teachers. Maybe if they would let the Char-Meck teachers have a bible in or on their desk it might make a difference in some kids lives. Is a bible worse then a gun? What do they in Char-Meck do should they catch a teacher reading the bible?

But’s that’s another day!

It turned Wintertime here all of a sudden!!

It has turned wintertime here all of a sudden.
WOW! It’s hard to believe it was 76′ on Friday, today its about 50′ and a little windy. Makes it feel like Christmas time again.

Not sure what Christmas is like where you’re from, but here we like to decorate our houses, not a little but a lot. Maybe even too much some times Just take a ride out my driveway and across Lawyers Rd and then Left on Truelite Church Rd and again Right into ST. Ives: Just get ready for a fun time, most of the homeowners here go all out and toward the back there are about 6 homes that have all their lights tied together and they blink to the beat of the music. It’s some good time, better then driving all the way to Clemmens to see The Tanglewood park there, really a cool site here.

And of course don’t forget the McAdenville lights, just a couple exits down I85 to the south. It’s really something to see, only takes a couple hours to drive thru and get there and back. Oh yeah they close down at 9 pm so don’t go late. Maybe I’ll see you there Not a bad idea to take some hot chocolate and have it ready when you roll down your windows to listen. Or maybe even find a place to park and walk around town.

Most of you probably don’t remember PTL and Jim and Tammy Baker when they were here about 15 years ago. Boy did they have the Christmas lights, scenes, it was some place. Too bad they let sin into their lives and messed up a lot of people. The Christmas lights there had all kinds of little skits and other scenes all along the route inside the complex, must of been about 5 miles of really cool Christmas decorations.

Just read an article about real estate in the paper how in just a few parts of the country home sales are down a lot. Like most of south Florida, but the rest of the US sales are actually up or maybe not sales but sales prices. Most people are in a situation that if they can’t get what they want for their home then they will just hold on to it. Just not a drop off in prices here, maybe a few less buyers, but lots are planning to visit in January. I think you will see quite an upswing the first of the year in The Charlotte area with prices. I have at least 10 clients planning a trip then so I’m sure there will be a lot of activity here. Exciting HUH!!

Don’t forget the reason for the season is really all year. I’ve never really made a super big deal about Christmas and the birth of Christ. For all year long I celebrate His Birth, not just on a man made holiday. Praise the Lord and Give Him All the Glory thru Jesus Christ his Son!!

See ya later. Gary
