Sports and Fitness in Charlotte North Carolina
I wrote a little earlier on this site that Crystal and I were planning to join a gym very soon. I was planning to get a gym membership for her for Christmas. She has really been wanting to work out more and feels like if she was a member of a gym that was CLOSE it would be easier.
Since we live in Charlotte there are gyms everywhere. On almost every corner. But how do you know which ones are good and which aren’t so good? And many of the ones that are nearby are really expensive.
The Charlotte Sports Center is RIGHT around the corner from our house. It is the place where we play in soccer and volleyball leagues all the time.
Inside the Charlotte Sports Center (which is right here next to our home on East Harris Boulevard near Northlake Mall) there is a very large, very nice, full service gym. It is called Sports and Fitness. It is brand new with many very big investors behind it. They are taking over several of the Peak Fitness clubs all around town. (Peak Fitness has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy.)
I went in today and talked with the General Manager of the Sports and Fitness here next to our house. They are so helpful and the gym is really nice. Since Crystal works with CMC they are offering us a corporate discount that is absolutely outrageous! Without signing a contract we are basically able to be members at Sports and Fitness for under half of most other gyms.
Sports and Fitness is the new front runner for our business. If you live in Charlotte you should check them out too. They have three locations and two more opening soon.
